About Us

• Hordeland Security is a gaming community that centers around World of Warcraft.  Our main goal is to complete AoTC each tier with mains first, then we do a mix of dabbling in Mythic content, transmog runs, and alt runs.  We have players that engage in all levels of PVP, and players that regularly run Mythic + multiple days of the week.
• Our main value is to be excellent to one another.  It means doing the right thing, acting with class, and ensuring that our raids foster a friendly atmosphere at all levels of the guild.  It creates an atmosphere free from harassment, discrimination, and creates a friendly environment to game together.  It's been our recipe for success over the 15+ years that the guild has been running.
• Each raiding tier we engage player interest in each form of content and try to set up guild events weekly to keep our player base engaged.  This means we sometimes add Rated BG guild content; other times Mythic + grouping; and in some tiers a third raiding night for progression based solely on player interest (optional third nights).
• We sometimes play other games including: D&D online with a guildie running as the DM through Discord; Jackbox games; Final Fantasy 14; and GTA Online.
• We do not discourage playing other games or taking a break from Wow.  If a raider expresses interest in taking a break there are no hard feelings with a raider stepping back from the raiding scene as needed, especially if Real-life obligations interfere with gaming.  All we ask is communication and a couple weeks notice to adjust our team as needed.
