Guild Charter
- Be Excellent to each other
- Real-life comes first
- Open communication
Be Excellent to Each Other
Our core rule: Be Excellent to each other, is required of ALL members and guests both in-game and on our Discord. This means speaking to each other with respect, and keeping the attitude of the raid positive - even on a night of raid progression. Commnication is constructive, and helpful, and we never put anyone down in front of others, keeping any corrective action needed in private.
NOT being excellent to each other may result in removal. Examples of such behavior include, but are not limited to:
- Insults - personal, political, familial, game-related, etc.
- Racism
- Sexism
- Excessive cursing - Demoralizing conversation (overly crude, or suggestive comments)
Grievances: All of our guild members are adults; as such, we certainly should be able to act as such, on and off the computer. If anyone has an issue they don’t feel they can successfully resolve on their own, bring the matter up privately to an officer. The officer will discuss the matter with the individuals involved, and may confer with other officers. After all these avenues have been exhausted, and you do not feel satisfied with the outcome, please discuss it over with Saffy; as Director, he will have the final say. All guild players should adhere to the rules established by the Director. Players who fail to adhere to these rules may be removed from the guild by the Director.
Grounds for removal from the guild: Repeated or gross mistreatment of other guild members. “Mistreatment” is any interaction which intentionally upsets or disturbs another player in the game. Warnings will be given when the infraction is observed or discovered. Another warning will be given for the second offense, which could include removal from the raid team for a specified time, temporary or permanent reduction in rank, or removal from the guild. Third offense, should it occur, will result in removal from guild.
Real-Life Comes First
We also have the mantra of Real-life comes first, and have made our raids work when people need time off due to work, family, or other real life situations.
This mean if a raider needs to take part of a season off, or can only raid one night a week, we find a way to make it work. We have many examples of this throughout the years and even make it work in Mythic progression.
Open Communcation
And lastly, we ask for Open Communication with our leadership team when it comes to raid attendance and ther needs. Communciation on making a raid in advance is key to giving leadership time to fill in key spots and make our raids happen. The earliest a raider knows they will be out for a raid or specific time, it's important to share that with guild leadership. We also ask that any issues be brought up to our attention so we can discuss and make changes, if the need arises.Guild Ranks

Raider Guidelines
- Read/watch boss strategies when posted in advance.
- Come to raid prepared and make use of all consumables and gear enhancements (enchants, gems, potions, oils, armor kits).
- Being willing to sit out if consistent mistakes are made on a boss that wipe the raid, as determined by the raid leader.
- Be willing to switch roles based on the needs of the raid leader.
- Stable Hardware - stable internet and a computer decent enough to perform in a 20+ raiding environment.
- Ability to respond positively to criticism.
- Parse at least 25% on boss fights on warcraftlogs.com or 25% higher than a tank in raid DPS.
- Be ready to start raid 5-10 minutes before raid start for invites and to clear trash.
5 Goals of Raid Progression
- AoTC Heroic achievement as our main progression path, with a raid comp and item level that supports this.
- To hit Normal mode for no more than 2 weeks of a new raiding tier to see mechanics in action or achieve item level boosts as needed (If there are no item level boosts or tier bonuses this is not necessary).
- To offer competitive raiding under a tight raid time, namely 4.5 hours a week. We expect any raiding member to study boss strategies outside of raids when we post our schedule in advance.
- To expect all raiding members follow optimal strategies and drop players not performing during our raids (progression or farm) if they are hindering results.
- To hit Mythic difficulty before the raid tier is over and down a few bosses. If unable to compete in Mythic, the raid team shall complete the raid tier in Heroic no more than 4 times (1 for the kill, 3 instances of farm) before making raiding completely optional for the remainder of the tier.
